Get paid to volunteer in the local community!
Students who are awarded work-study as part of their financial aid package may work on or off campus. Naropa University employs a small percentage of students at select non-profit organizations in Boulder. In order to qualify for the community work-study program, students must be eligible for federal work-study. As a work-study employee of Naropa, students will volunteer at one of the organizations listed below. Eligible students may work up to twenty hours per week. The pay rate is $10.00 per hour.
Students are paid semi-monthly receiving their paychecks on the 15th and the last day of the month. Earnings are not applied to a student’s tuition bill and are subject to taxation. Receiving a work-study award is not a guarantee of employment.
