Issues in Education: The Mary Culkin Lecture Series

Naropa University's Early Childhood Education (ECE) program offers this public lecture and discussion series that was developed in memory of the late Mary Louise Culkin, who taught in the ECE program for many years and helped to develop the master's degree in contemplative education. Mary envisioned opportunities for extended learning such as this lecture series for the regional early education community. Through this series, we learn from regional and national leaders in the field of early care and education, and become connected as a larger educational community. The lecture series is open to all interested members of the community. Certificates of attendance will be issued to those desiring contact hour credit documentation for relicensing or other purposes.

The lectures are held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Shambhala Hall (2nd floor, Lincoln Building) on Naropa University's Arapahoe Campus, 2130 Arapahoe St., Boulder, CO 80302. Suggested donation is $8 per event ($5 for Naropa students). For more information, contact Michael Girodo (303-546-5288). Preregistration is not necessary. All donations support the Contemplative Education Scholarship Fund.
