Vision

Universities and colleges are composed of diverse disciplines, each with its own focus of study and utilizing its own specific theories, modes and methodologies. Due to the growing complexity of our world, however, individual disciplines don’t always address the pressing issues at hand.

Interdisciplinary Studies allows students to skillfully combine elements from the various disciplines to address the specific interdisciplinary focus of their degree. Interdisciplinarity enables the student to engage contemplative practice, diversity awareness and civic engagement.
