Each year, Naropa University's Office of Admissions puts on a variety of on-campus events to help introduce prospective students to Naropa's unique educational approach and student experience. If you are interested in applying to Naropa, these events are not to be miss!
Undergraduate Preview Weekend

Undergraduate Preview Weekends offer prospective undergraduate students and their families the opportunity to experience Naropa firsthand. These two-day events include an introduction to contemplative education and practice, sample classes, student and parent panels, activity fairs, tours of campus and Snow Lion housing, financial aid sessions, group activities, meals, and more! Whether you are still considering applying or have already been accepted, an Undergraduate Preview Weekend is a great chance to get a feel for how a Naropa education could meet your unique educational and personal needs.
Transfer Student Drop-In Days
Will my classes transfer? Am I eligible for financial aid? Will I fit in? Come meet with us for answers to these questions and more. Through individual appointments with representatives from Admissions and Financial Aid, we will help you understand if Naropa University is the right place for you to earn your degree. Prepare for a relaxed but incredibly informative afternoon. Our counselors respect your experience and are here to help you understand how you can use your past college experience and credits to begin your Naropa journey. Campus tour at 2:00.
Graduate Open House
Monday, September 29, 2014 from 6-9pm
The Graduate Open House provides a chance for prospective graduate students and their families to engage with Naropa's campus culture and curriculum in person. The event includes a talk on contemplative education, financial aid presentations, and time with faculty from all graduate departments, admissions staff, and current students.
Graduate Psychology Preview Weekend
Friday, October 17 - Saturday, October 18, 2014
The Graduate Psychology Preview Weekend is specially designed to give prospective students in-depth information about Naropa's graduate psychology degree programs. Packed with information and activities designed to familiarize prospective students with psychology at Naropa, the Preview also gives a general overview of Naropa's unique academic environment and student life as well. Events include: contemplative practice experiential sessions, panels and discussions with current students, faculty, and alumni, and sample program offerings from the following programs:
- MA Contemplative Counseling Psychology
- MA Somatic Counseling Psychology: Body Psychotherapy and Dance/Movement Therapy
- MA Transpersonal Counseling Psychology: Art Therapy
- MA Transpersonal Counseling Psychology: Counseling Psychology

Jack Keuroac School Preview Day

The JKS Preview Day provides a sneak peek into this storied school. Prospective undergraduate and graduate prospective students alike will take part in this day-long event that includes introductory contemplative practice sessions, a financial aid overview, and tips on how to strengthen your application. The day cumulates in panel discussions as part of the inaugural [Dis]embodied Poetics Conference, which explores the intersections between innovative forms of creative and critical writing that are experientially rooted in contemplative practice. A must-see event for all writers!
School of the Arts Preview Day

The SOTA Preview Day gives prospective graduate and undergraduate students the chance to see what it means to be awakened and transformed through embodied artistic expression. The day starts with introductory contemplative practice sessions, a financial aid overview, and tips on how to strengthen your application. Then meet with current students over lunch, participate in program-specific classes, and hear how to take your art and make a career from SOTA chair, Sue Hammond-West. Not to be missed!
