MFA Creative Writing
In addition to the standard graduate admissions requirements, the following is required to apply for Fall 2013 admittance to the MFA Creative Writing program.
10 to 15 pages of creative nonfiction, fiction, prose, poetry, cross-genre work, or some combination thereof. Please indicate the genre(s) submitted.
If using the online application, insert the writing sample in the space provided. Please note that this will remove all formatting from your work. If formatting is an important part of your writing sample, please print out and mail the writing sample to the Office of Admissions, even if you use the online application for the rest of your application. The hard-copy of the writing sample should have your name, the program to which you're applying, and page numbers on each page. Submitting a cover page is also recommended.
Naropa Writing Center - Graduate Assistantship
The Naropa Writing Center offers an opportunity for incoming graduate students to be considered for a graduate assistantship. The assistantship requires up to 10 hours a week commitment aiding with the day to day functioning of the writing center, including direct consultation with students.
