Make a Gift to Naropa
What are the deadlines for making calendar year gifts?
Online credit card gifts must be made by noon on December 30 MST to ensure they are posted to your credit card account by December 31. Credit card gifts via phone (303-546-3575) should be called in to the Advancement Office by noon on December 29. Checks should be sent to Naropa University with envelopes postmarked by December 31 in order to meet IRS qualifications for that year's gift. Gifts of securities require a longer lead time in order to be processed by year end. Please call the Advancement Office at 303-546-3575 for specific information on gifts of securities.

How do I make a memorial gift?
When making a gift as a memorial to someone, simply include the following information:
- Name of the deceased and date of death
- Name of the surviving widow, widower, or family member to whom notice of this gift should be sent.
- Your telephone number, in case there are any questions.
How do I make a gift of securities?
When making a gift of securities to Naropa, please contact the Advancement Office (303-546-3575). It is very important to have complete donor information (name, address, phone number), the name and type of securities to be gifted, number of shares and the date you intend to make the gift. It is important for us to know the identity of the donors of all securities gifts in order to give prompt and accurate credit of all gifts received. This is most important in the case of an electronic transfer.
Can I designate my gift to a specific area?
Donors sometimes wish to allocate their gifts to a particular department or use at Naropa. Simply place your request in writing and submit it along with a gift to the university. If you would like more information on designating a use for a contribution, please call (303-546-3575).
How can I get my gift matched by my company?
Each company has its own guidelines for employees to follow. To learn the specifics of requesting a match from your company, please contact your Human Resources department. They may have a form for you to fill out.
