I specialize in work with people dealing with addiction and/or substance abuse problems and with members of the LGBT community. I use the contemplative ideas of compassion for self, basic goodness, and mindfulness as the basis of my work of helping people lead the lives they want. I enjoy most seeing people, no matter what their presenting problem, leave my office having found more courage and understanding for their life. I work with people individually, in groups, and co-facilitate Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention classes.
