I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families. I help clients connect to
their full potential by exploring how their thoughts and beliefs impact the way they
feel. I believe that the cause of human suffering is often the thoughts and beliefs
that cloud our perception of life. "Eventually you will see that the real cause
of problems is not life itself. It's the commotion that mind makes about life that
really causes problems." (Michael Singer).
I utilize mindfulness based cognitive-behavioral therapy, contemplative practices,
transpersonal psychology, existential psychology, and psychodynamic therapy in a safe,
respectful and non-judgmental environment to help clients deepen their connection
to themselves and live more fully and authentically.
I am holistically-oriented, which means that I work to nurture wellness in the body,
the mind, and the spirit. I help clients gain the insights necessary to reach their
greatest potential and learn to live more fully in the present moment.
I also teach Compassionate Communication.
