I used a highly integrative approach to counseling. Some of the main modalities I incorporate are art therapy, body psychotherapy, dance/movement therapy and sand tray therapy. I am a Certified Internal Family Systems Practitioner and a Certified Addictions Counselor. I work to help people better manage life and to reach their personal goals while also deepening into a greater sense of their spirituality. One of my specialties is working with chronic pain, illness and injury. In Medical Somatic Psychotherapy I work with the body-psyche-spirit interface to help people restore healthy relationship to their bodies, reduce pain perception, and increase healing. I am bicultural and speak Spanish. I work with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds. I also work with those who identify as part of the LGBTI community, as well as with nontraditional unions. I work with individuals, couples and families. My practice with children is currently limited to work with the family system and medical somatic psychotherapy.
