Caveat:

The following two factors led to an increase in violations which were referred for disciplinary action: 1) Reporting standards and judicial procedures were clarified, resulting in more accurate reporting. 2) In August 2006, the residence hall was relocated to a larger building. This allowed the university to implement required housing for the entire incoming first-year student class, incorporating an education program. The student housing population more than doubled. Sanctions for 2006 included some suspensions or expulsions. In 2007, there were several students who repeatedly smoked marijuana and were subject to disciplinary actions. These events happened in the residence hall. None of these students continued to reside there and some are no longer students of the university. The program has been redesigned, staffing has been increased, and admissions recruitment support has been incorporated. As of Fall 2008, we are seeing very strong improvement.
