Emily K. Harrison holds an MFA in Performance from the Savannah College of Art & Design, a PhD in Theatre from the University of Colorado, and a Bachelor's in Acting and Writing from Boston's Emerson College. In addition to serving as adjunct faculty for Naropa’s School of the Arts and Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics (Core Curriculum), she currently teaches courses in the Department of Theatre and Dance at CU-Boulder. Emily is the founder and producing artistic director of Boulder-based, award-winning square product theatre and frequently works as a collaborator with other theatre companies and individuals in the region. Emily was recently recognized by the Denver Post as a 2011 Pathmaker, one of only seven individuals working in an arts field to receive the honor, and was the recipient of a 2011 Teaching Excellence Award at CU-Boulder.
