Sarah is a member of the core faculty in the Religious Studies Program. A lama in the Shangpa Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, she completed the first three-year retreat for westerners in 1980 under H.E. Kalu Rinpoche. She has published many translations, including Creation and Completion and Machik's Complete Explanation. She is currently working on translations as a fellow of the Tsadra Foundation. Sarah also runs a Tibetan language correspondence course.
