Naropa Earth Day Celebration
Musicians and Speakers Come Together to Celebrate the Planet

BOULDER, Colo. (April 18, 2007)— Celebrate Earth Day with several bands and speakers at Naropa University’s Planet Party Friday, April 20th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Arapahoe Campus.

Guest speakers will include Adrienne Anderson, Puala Palmer, Marco Lam, and Michael Brownlee with music from Homestyle, Down with Naked, and Moon Balloon.  At 1 p.m. there will be a group chant for peace and members from Dream Time are performing throughout the day.  Several amazing items will be displayed for a silent auction and all benefits will go to the Naropa University on-campus group “The GreenHouse Effect.”

Accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, Naropa University is a private, nonprofit, nonsectarian liberal arts institution dedicated to advancing contemplative education. This approach to learning integrates the best of Eastern and Western educational traditions, helping students know themselves more deeply and engage constructively with others. The university comprises a four-year undergraduate college and graduate programs in the arts, education, environmental leadership, psychology and religious studies.
