Mark is a second-year graduate student in the MA Contemplative Psychotherapy program. He has worked in the field of psychology for five years as a mental health coordinator for individuals diagnosed with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness and in addictions counseling with adolescents and young adults. One of his roles as GA for Student Wellness and AOD is to offer support to students, student groups and faculty through addressing AOD issues on campus, providing community support/networking and resource referrals. AA/12 Step Group
Mission: To provide an informal, open meeting that serves as a source of Naropa support on-campus for those in recovery

Mission: A student led group that seeks to support students who choose to abstain from alcohol
or drugs as well as those who want guidance towards a more alcohol and drug free life.

ROOT
Mission: Reconnecting on Outer Terrain (ROOT) is a group of leadership, connection, community and outreach that coordinate hikes geared primarily towards those in recovery.
Meeting: Thursday evenings at 6 pm in the ROOT office in the basement of the Lincoln Building.

Boulder Community Resources

This is the official web site for the Alcoholics Anonymous community in Boulder, Broomfield, Lafayette, Longmont and the rest of Boulder County. The site provides a daily schedule for local AA meetings, as well as times, directions and a description of whom the meetings are geared towards.

This is the official web site for Narcotics Anonymous in Boulder County. This site provides a daily schedule of meetings, times, directions and various other resources. 

The Addiction Recovery Center (ARC) provides numerous services to Boulder County residents, including counseling, in-patient and out-patient services, and services geared specifically for women.

Boulder County’s Alcohol Diversion and Second Offender Program works with individuals by strengthening personal decision-making, self-awareness, and family communication.

The current focus of HOAP is to increase healthy behavior within identified health disparate populations in Boulder County. To accomplish this, HOAP staff provides training and informational resources on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, intersexed, and questioning (LGBTIQ) issues to medical and mental health professionals, agencies that serve the LGBTIQ population, community members, and school personnel.

Intensive Treatment Centers

AIM House is a residential mentoring program for individual 17.5 years of age and above. AIM House provides individuals: 12-step orientation & support; group, individual & family therapy; one-on-one coaching; wilderness experiences; peer support; tutoring and structured study sessions;  access to academic institutions, vocational internships and volunteer opportunities
