NaropaLINK Explanation
What is NaropaLink?
NaropaLink is an easy to use web-based program that promotes community involvement through events and groups, tracks participation, and generates students’ Co-Curricular Transcripts (CCT).
This is what NaropaLink does:
- makes it easy for students to get involved outside-of-the-classroom by showcasing organizations, student groups, events, and activities in a dynamic online forum with a virtual flier board and an interface with Facebook.
- centralizes campus activities, workshops, lectures, student groups, trainings, and civic engagement opportunities, providing greater access to current and prospective students as well as alumni. Student involvement correlates to student satisfaction and student retention.
- fosters students to individually identify and track their personal and professional learning objectives that can be addressed through campus engagement activities.
- generates a Co-Curricular Transcript for every involved student. Student involvement is submitted via NaropaLink by the student, administrators, student groups, and organizations which is verified and compiled as an official record of co-curricular experience.
- enhances tools for Student Groups, for example they will be better able to access their funds, manage rosters, have live discussions, gather feedback, share documents, and hold online surveys/elections.
- improves Naropa’s Zero Waste commitment
by eliminating cumbersome paper-driven processes and supports efficiency of Student Government, Student Groups, and Student Affairs.
- allows for the institution to better align its resources and funding of co-curricular activities. NaropaLink provides easy access to survey tools that reports on student participation and feedback, facilitating comparative assessments.
- increases the visibility and transparency of the Student Union of Naropa (SUN) providing a space to post minutes, hold discussions, and make available the fiscal budget.
