In addition to the international education programs that Naropa University offers, study through the programs of many other colleges and universities has also been approved for credit. Naropa students also have worked closely with faculty to develop proposals for overseas research and travel opportunities. In 2007, a team of students along with Adjunct Professor Natajara Kallio, Department of Traditional Eastern Arts, received a grant from the ASIANetwork/Freeman Foundation for study of pilgrimage traditions to Mt. Kailash, Nepal.
