Student Housing
Weekly housing is available for SWP students at Snow Lion. Housing is available for one, two, three or all four weeks of the SWP.

Snow Lion is located four residential blocks from the 2130 Arapahoe campus. Both one bedroom and two bedroom apartments are available. Each unit includes a kitchen, full bath, dining area and living room. Each student is provided with an extra long twin bed (linens provided), dresser, desk, desk chair and closet. The apartments also include a kitchen table and chairs. Kitchens will be minimally furnished and common areas have a couch and coffee table.

The complex includes free parking, coin-op laundry facility, high-speed wireless internet, a small community meeting space and classroom, and meditation room. Individual phone service within apartments is not provided; however, a 1-800 line (for local calls, emergency numbers and calling cards) exists in the community space, located on the first floor of the building. The Snow Lion Office is open for administrative concerns Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–12 p.m. & 2–5 p.m. Three staff members also reside within the Snow Lion Community and can be reached in case of an after hours emergency (beginning at 8 p.m.), 7 days a week.

Room Prices
Single occupancy in one bedroom of a two-bedroom apt. $47/day * 7day= $329/week

*Double-occupancy in one bedroom of a two-bedroom apt. $34/day *7 day = $238/week

Single one bedroom apartment $66/day * 7day= $462/week

Double-occupancy in a one-bedroom apartment $34/day * 7day= $238/week

*Maximum of three people per apartment.

Reservations
To make a reservation using your credit card, download your registration form and email to housingadmin@naropa.edu. Please email the registration form as soon as you’ve registered for the program to secure your reservation. If you need to pay by check, please download your registration form, print and send both to:

Reservation confirmation will begin after April 15 so please do not call the Housing office until after that date.

If you do not hear from us within one week (if you’ve submitted your form after April 15 ONLY) of submitting your registration form via email, please call us at 303-447-3846. Reservations are confirmed via email once per week on Friday. Any reservation in before 5 p.m. on Thursday should have a confirmation by the following Friday. Please call if you don’t receive confirmation within that timeframe.

Students attending the first week of the Summer Writing Program can pay for an extra day to arrive on Saturday for SWP early activities; however, generally speaking, all rooms are rented on a weekly basis ONLY, (Sunday to Sunday). Early or late departures are not permitted. Check-out is 11 a.m. on Sunday.

Housing Cancellation Policy
Refunds will be made according to the following schedule:

At least 30 days to the program week: Full refund less $25 cancellation fee

14–29 days prior to the first program week: 50% refund

7–13 days prior to program week: 25% refund

Less than 7 days prior to program week or after occupancy: No refund

No credit will be given for missed night (late arrival, early departure)

Snow Lion Apartment Complex is an alcohol-free and drug-free zone. Please do not bring or use alcohol or drugs in the building or on the property.
