To celebrate Naropa’s 50 years, the Center for the Advancement of Contemplative Education (CACE) invites you to join us for our 24-hour sitting meditation practice, offered both in-person at the Arapahoe campus and online.
Naropa’s founder, Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, encouraged all his students to engage in contemplative practice to come to know our own mind. In this way, we recognize our innate wakefulness and inherent compassion. To meditate is to meet ourselves and the world with naked honesty, with an open mind and an awakened heart. Practicing together, we support each other in loving community in our vision for a just and beautiful world.
The day and night will include guided meditations, silent sitting, and walking meditations. Weather permitting, we will be outside under the sycamore trees, with an additional indoor space by the café. The entire 24-hours will be live-streamed. All are welcome. Please join us in-person or online for as short or long as you like. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
There will be sponsorship opportunities to support scholarship funds. Please stay tuned for more details.
