Snow Lion Apartments

Snow Lion is Naropa’s set of one and two-bedroom apartments three blocks from the Arapahoe Campus. Each unit includes a full kitchen (with dishwashers!), dining area with dining room table and chairs, a living room with a couch and coffee table, full bathroom with tub and shower, and a bedroom(s) with twin XL bed(s), dresser(s) and desk(s). The apartment is fully furnished with bed linens, bath towels, pots, pans, dishes, dishwashing and dishwasher soap, and hand soap. All apartments have window unit air-conditioners.

The complex includes free parking, free laundry, high-speed wireless internet, a community meeting place, and meditation room. Individual phone service within apartments is not provided, nor do we have televisions.

Snow Lion Apartment Complex is an alcohol-free and drug-free building.

2333 Arapahoe

2333 Arapahoe, Naropa’s newest residence hall, offers furnished private single bedrooms and shared double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms; a communal kitchen, dining area and living room; and three outdoor deck areas that offer stunning views of Boulder. Located strategically on multiple transit lines, 2333 Arapahoe offers easy access to the amenities of Naropa, the University of Colorado, and a host of restaurants and shops in the area.

Summer Housing Rates

  • Full Summer Term Housing: $3,600
  • Conference Housing Option 1. Private One Bedroom Apartment: $100/night
  • Conference Housing Option 2. Private Bedroom in a Shared Two Bedroom Apartment: $75/night
  • Conference Housing Option 3. Shared Bedroom in a Shared One or Two Bedroom Apartment: $50/night


Summer housing is run by the Director of Campus and Residential Life, who can be reached at housing@naropa.edu. We have a number of Resident Assistants, who live at Snow Lion and are a part of the 24/7 on-call rotation.

Naropa Campuses Closed on Friday, March 15, 2024

Due to adverse weather conditions, all Naropa campuses will be closed Friday, March 15, 2024.  All classes that require a physical presence on campus will be canceled. All online and low-residency programs are to meet as scheduled.

Based on the current weather forecast, the Healing with the Ancestors Talk & Breeze of Simplicity program scheduled for Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday will be held as planned.

Staff that do not work remotely or are scheduled to work on campus, can work remotely. Staff that routinely work remotely are expected to continue to do so.

As a reminder, notifications will be sent by e-mail and the LiveSafe app.  

Regardless of Naropa University’s decision, if you ever believe the weather conditions are unsafe, please contact your supervisor and professors.  Naropa University trusts you to make thoughtful and wise decisions based on the conditions and situation in which you find yourself in.
