Naropa University Announces Tuition Reduction for MA Religious Studies & Master of Divinity Degree Programs

Boulder, CO, Apr 23, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) –

Naropa University is pleased to announce a reduction in tuition rates for their MA Religious Studies and Master of Divinity degree programs for the 2019-2020 academic year. This new pricing ensures these transformative programs will be more accessible to students called to this important work.

The tuition rates for both programs will lower from $995 per credit to $750 per credit, reducing the overall tuition by 25%. In addition to this lowered tuition rate, Naropa also offers scholarships to help students in these programs achieve their academic goals.

Naropa President Charles Lief said, “Our world is in need of skilled chaplains, pastoral counselors, and community leaders with deep academic and experiential spiritual roots. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, I am delighted that we are opening our doors to a more diverse student body.”

In addition to aligning with Naropa’s mission of inclusivity, the tuition reduction responds to a national perception that education, particularly graduate education, is financially unattainable. Through the help of generous donations made to Naropa’s Annual Fund, nearly forty percent of graduate students already receive financial assistance of some kind. With the additional tuition reduction, more students will be able to access a transformative, personalized, and holistic educational experience at a cost that’s competitive with larger state schools.
